Small Business & Nonprofit Application Questions

The following questions are REQUIRED, by the CARES Act, to be answered by any small business owner or nonprofit that is requesting COVID-19 safety supplies.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Small businesses or nonprofits with a publicly serving location within the City of San Antonio
  • Must have been impacted by state or local COVID-19 executive order closure requirements
  • Must have been in operation prior to March 1, 2020
  • Must have no more than 25 employees (full or part time) or contract workers
  • Must not have received PPE from a past distribution event with the City of San Antonio or City Council District.

The business must be located within the San Antonio City Limits.

If any of the following questions are answered “NO”, then the business or nonprofit does not qualify for supplies.

  1. Take the SAfer.Together Pledge. The business/nonprofit agency PLEDGES to Stay Safe and accepts to follow ALL 7 of the guidelines:
    1. Use face covering
    2. Practice physical distancing
    3. Conduct temperature checks
    4. Provide hand sanitizer
    5. Follow CDC cleaning protocols
    6. Implement contactless payment when possible
    7. General COVID-19 awareness training for employees
